Footy fans heading to Optus Stadium this May will have access to a free flu vaccination pop-up clinic set to roll out across select AFL games.

The initiative forms part of The WA Government’s “Be Wise, Immunise” campaign, encouraging Western Australians to protect themselves ahead of the flu season.

For the first time, Optus Stadium will host vaccination clinics on game days, making it easier for fans to roll up their sleeves. Clinics delivered by St John WA will be available for three AFL games, including Eagles vs Richmond on May 2, Fremantle vs Hawks on May 7 and Eagles vs GWS on May 17.

The campaign coincides with the launch of The WA Government's free influenza vaccination program, which runs from 1 May and aims to boost immunisation rates across Western Australia.

Fans attending upcoming matches are encouraged to take advantage of the pop-up clinics before and during the game, located in the Eastern Atrium inside Gates A and B.
